Colorful Icons and Android Home Screen Customization
Athys is an Android personalization app that replaces standard app icons with detailed, colorful designs. Created by coccco28, it includes more than 2,100 icons, 16 custom wallpapers, alternative icons, and a cloud-based wallpaper picker. Users can apply the collection through compatible launchers such as Nova Launcher, Apex, or ADW. Two Kustom widgets require KWGT Pro, while an included live wallpaper preset requires KLWP Pro. Dynamic calendar icons and customizable folders help maintain a consistent appearance across the home screen. Unlike tinyCam PRO, which manages security camera feeds, this app focuses on visual customization. Launcher compatibility determines which icons and additional features can be applied.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Athys used for on Android?
Athys is a paid icon pack designed to change the appearance of Android home screen icons. It provides more than 2,100 individually designed icons, custom wallpapers, alternative icon choices, and calendar icon support. Users can combine these elements with a compatible launcher to create a consistent visual theme.
How do I install and apply Athys icons?
Install the icon pack and make sure your device uses a launcher that supports third-party icon themes. Open the launcher's appearance or icon settings, locate the installed pack, and select it. Nova Launcher, Apex, ADW, and several other launchers are listed as supported. The exact steps vary depending on your launcher.
Does Athys work with Nova Launcher?
Yes. Nova Launcher is explicitly supported by the developer. After installing the icon pack, open Nova Launcher settings, navigate to the icon appearance options, and select the pack. The available settings and menu names may differ between Nova Launcher versions.
How many icons and wallpapers are included?
The developer lists more than 2,100 custom app icons and 16 wallpapers. The collection also includes alternative icons for selected applications, a cloud-based wallpaper picker, and a manually themed folder set. The number of icons may increase when the developer publishes updates.
Does Athys require KWGT Pro or KLWP Pro?
Neither application is required for the regular icon pack or wallpapers. However, the two included Kustom widget presets require KWGT Pro, and the included live wallpaper preset requires KLWP Pro. These are separate applications with their own licensing requirements.
Can I use Athys without installing another launcher?
The icon pack requires a launcher that supports third-party icon themes for its normal application process. Some Android default launchers do not offer this capability. Using a compatible launcher such as Nova, Apex, or ADW is the developer's recommended approach.
Does Athys support dynamic calendar icons?
Yes. The developer includes dynamic calendar support for applications such as Google Calendar, Business Calendar, and Today Calendar. Dynamic icons can display the current date instead of a fixed number when the selected launcher and calendar application support the feature.
Is Athys free or paid on Google Play?
Athys is a paid application on Google Play. Its official listing also indicates in-app purchases. The icon pack includes its advertised icon and wallpaper collection, but using the separate Kustom widgets and live wallpaper presets requires KWGT Pro or KLWP Pro. Pricing can vary by country and storefront.
